What is a Brassie?
The Brassie Grille serves traditional grill cuisine in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Its vintage decor pays homage to the history of golf culture. The name of the restaurant is derived from the early brass plated, wooden golf club that was used during the 1880’s and 1890’s. This club would eventually be replaced by what is now the modern 2-wood. The antique Brassie golf club that is displayed in the restaurant on the northern wall was made in Gairloch, Scotland and was sold in Manhattan from Davega stores founded in 1879.
The Brassie has become a jewel of beach side dining offering affordable delicious meals and outstanding bar service. With both indoor and outdoor seating, patrons have the option to enjoy a seat at the bar or take in the refreshing Florida breeze that flows through Aquarina from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian River.
